It has been a long time since we've had a place for people to visit and with the new interpretive centre still a long ways off, we wanted to provide something to keep our supporters connected. The landscaping and fencing is almost complete, along with a beautiful new display cage that is currently holding Otis the Owl. The Co-op Community Wildlife Homes Playground is also open for use.
In the reception room of the new hospital, staff are busy putting together the new gift shop, a few displays, coffee area, and a drop-off site for patients and item donations. The highlight of the room will be the large-screen TV that connects to cameras that can be placed in ever changing locations to offer a close-up look at what is happening in the hospital.
