We are currently taking applications for unpaid interns to work at the facility from May 1 to October 31, 2020.
**There is now availability for one, two, and five month internships.**
This year’s interns will be the first to work in the brand new wildlife hospital. Interns will assist in every aspect of the Centre’s work including patient care, facility maintenance, education programs, wildlife conflict, fostering implementation and research, and public relations. MRWC also offers a leadership/teamwork program to all interns.
We offer housing, uniforms, work and safety clothing, WiFi, vehicle for local shopping and tourism, training, and a certificate of completion. We also have recreation equipment such as camping gear, mountain bikes, canoes, BBQ, and fire pit for intern use.
Interns will be asked to provide their own footwear, food, fuel for personal travel, and lots of enthusiasm, hard work, and a team attitude.
