Applications for the 2020 season are now closed. Watch for 2021 information to be posted later this fall.
The program runs from May 1 to September 30 with availability for as little as 1 month positions to the full 5 month stay. Interns will assist in every aspect of the Centre’s work including patient care, facility maintenance, education programs, wildlife conflict, fostering implementation and research, and public relations. MRWC also offers a leadership/teamwork program to all interns.
We offer housing, uniforms, work and safety clothing, WiFi, vehicle for local shopping and tourism, training, and a certificate of completion. We also have recreation equipment such as camping gear, mountain bikes, canoes, BBQ, and fire pit for intern use.
Interns will be asked to provide their own footwear, food, fuel for personal travel, and lots of enthusiasm, hard work, and a team attitude.
