These birds are found on or near water on a regular basis. They either have fully or partially webbed feet for swimming or long toes for keeping them on the surface of sand or bog. We see a wide range of these kinds of birds in our hospital including ducks, Geese, Loons, Grebes, Pelicans, Swans, Cranes, Sandpipers, Gulls, Cormorants, and Herons.
